One of the most rewarding parts of my work these days is the time I spend with four distinct, but deeply connected groups:
– Newly promoted Managing Directors and General Managers,
– Owner/MDs gearing up for growth
– Businesses navigating transition and complex change
– Family business succession.
Each group brings its own challenges. A new MD getting to grips with a role, an owner ready to take the next step but hesitant, a company trying to steady itself during uncertain times, or a family navigating the emotional layers of passing the baton.
What they all share is a need for perspective. Not answers from a textbook, but real, honest support and someone to listen, challenge, and help bring clarity when the path ahead looks tangled.
I see my role as part advisor, part sounding board, part calm in the storm. And it’s a privilege. These are people invested in doing things well – for their teams, their businesses, and their future.
Helping them think more clearly, act more confidently, and move forward with purpose reinforces why I do what I do.
